Welcome to Bigg Boss 19: Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar
Bigg Boss 19: Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar : This season, Bigg Boss returned on 24 August 2025, under the banner “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar”. Salman Khan is once again at the helm, guiding, admonishing, and occasionally exploding at his housemates. There is a new batch of contestants who are coming in with their dramas, intelligence, fun and of course fights.
One twist this season: the housemates’ decisions carry more weight. The theme suggests that what the “residents” (gharwalas) decide matters. There will be less interference, more internal drama. Also, the concept of a secret room has already played its part, with eliminated contestants observing from the shadows.

The Rules, Tasks, and Twists
There are rules guiding the house and the game. While rules sometimes , they are key ones that don’t. For one, they can only communicate in Hindi. They cannot leave the house without permission and physical abuse is prohibited. Rules change, alliances shift, emotions surge. Here are other defining mechanics you need to know:
- Letters as Tasks
Early on, family letters played a role. Each contestant got a letter intended for someone else; they had to decide: deliver it (and drop out of captaincy race) or shred it (and stay in contention). Farrhana shredded Neelam’s letter — a move that detonated conflict. - Secret Room
Rather than being fully evicted, some contestants are sent to a secret room and can eavesdrop. Farrhana was the first to go there. - App Room & Audience Trends
Housemates who trend (positively or negatively) inside the viewer chat on JioHotstar get perks or punishments via the App Room. - Captaincy & Task Votes
Captains are contested. Sometimes via performance in tasks, sometimes via speeches and house votes. Allies matter - No Over-ruling Outside Power (ideally)
The “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar” twist pushes that internal decisions weigh more; less heavy external interference. That said, host interventions still hurt when things go overboard. - Evictions
Weekly nominations, followed by public votes or internal votes. But as we’ve seen, elimination doesn’t always equal exit.
The Amaal Mallik — Farrhana Bhatt Saga: A Storm in the House
If Bigg Boss 19 had a climax happening right now, this is it.
During one captaincy task, Farrhana decided to shred Neelam’s letter rather than deliver it — ensuring her spot in the race. This move unleashed fury. Neelam broke down. Voices rose and others accused her of lacking compassion and humanity.
But as tensions simmered, the next spark was savage. While Farrhana quietly ate, Amaal confronted her. He forcibly grabbed her plate and threw her food away, then smashed the plate. He also yelled things. One infamous line:
“Tu aur teri maa dono B-grade hai.” (“You and your mother are both B-grade.”)
Farrhan lashed back calling him a ‘B-grade person’. More words were exchanged, arguments became more intense. Some leapt to Farrhana’s side. Some defended Amaal.
Fallout & Apology
Yes, Amaal later apologized. He acknowledged he went too far by dragging Farrhana’s mother into it. But apologies don’t erase scars. Some in the house still regard him as crossing the line.
Farrhana, meanwhile, is being reframed in viewers’ eyes. Many now call her a winner (not because she’s perfect, but because in that moment she stood strong).
Also: Gauahar Khan publicly slammed Farrhana after she made a remark calling Neelam “Bhojpuri staff”, adding another dimension to the conflict.
Zeishan, after his eviction, called out Amaal as “dogla” (two-faced), and criticized Kunickaa as toxic.
What to Watch, What’s Brewing
- Power shifts: With this fight, alliances may fracture or realign. Those siding with Farrhana may gain moral high ground; those backing Amaal may be suspect.
- Salman’s Weekend Ka Vaar: The host’s reprimand carries weight. Expect heavy judgment on behavior, especially after the plate incident.
- Farrhana’s comeback or exit: She’s already been in the secret room; will she return fully? Will the house accept or ostracize her?
- Backstories & scars: Gaurav Khanna’s stoic journey, Baseer’s assays of strategy, Nehal’s accusations, Kunickaa’s sharp tongue; there’s more under the hood.
- Who becomes captain next: The position matters. Whoever holds it can wield influence over nominations.
- Public sentiment: Fans and netizens are active. Comments and words are flowing on social media with many having who they support and who they are against.
Final Thoughts
Bigg Boss 19 isn’t just about fights and gimmicks, though there are a lot of them. But there are the human cracks also, pride, hurt, loyalty, betrayal. Despite the chaos, there’s something compelling. You see choices, harsh, messy choices. And you wonder: what would you do in their shoes?
